London (England) is getting serious about its bid to host the 2006 TdF start.
They have now outlined the prospective Prologue and Stage 1 and 2 routes.
The Prologue would take a short jaunt around hyde Park and the Houses of Parliament.
And stage 2 would be from Rochester castle (kent County) down to Pompey (Poersmouth)
That scenario would require the closing of at least the Inner City to traffic for the best part of
three days.
But, supposing Jean-Marie sees things the right way, it's much more interesting to speculate whether
Little Libby Saxe-Coburg-Gotha would drop the flag for the start of stage one.
Or whether that would be too Infra-Dignitatum and they'd have to call on the Duchess of York, Little
Libby's ex Daughter in Law.
Myself I favour Fergie. Jeeperz, she's vivacious and more fun generally, and by all accounts would
make sure that the lads ddn't go short of anything they needed.
Also she somewhat resembles Pou-Pou's wife (In looks only mind you).
I always thought the Pou-Pou's to be an interesting couple. Raymond is a small dark Limousin, wheras
his spouse is an amply endowed flaming red head from. I believe, the Fench Flanders area.
