Lock Recommendations

I use an albus D-lock combined with a kryptoflex. The D-lock was about
£40 and seems pretty secure. (fits my insurance requirements) The
kryptoflex stops people nicking the wheels etc though it isnt
particularly heavy duty. This reduces the weight a fair bit.

Hampshire County Council's website - road safety area has a shop.
Theres a cheap cable lock with a bracket to store it on the bike.
Will this do?

Consider fitting Pitlocks, which are keyed replacements for the quick
release skewers. They tested well in Cycling Plus. A scrote with an
Allen key cannot undo your wheels. the Cycling Plus article said the only
thing to budge them would be haevu duty tools to mash off the end.

If you want a flexible lock,
I was in the London couriers' pub on Tuesday night. They mostly use
the heavy Abus locks which they carry round the waist.
