is also a very relaxing place to be.When I was a wee 16 yr old my parents actually allowed my
best mate and I to take a tandem across the Clyde to
Helensburgh - along the pass and onto Loch Lomond YH, where
we promptly crashed into a van delivering eggs! Next day was
Luss - breaking ice-water in a horse trough to wash in the
morning, followed by a hard slog thru Rest and Be Thankful.
We had a school reunion - 30 years on... and she brought
photos in of us - two near drowned lassies most of the time
- but some of the most memorable moments ever!K.
