I have to be in Stockton for two weeks starting next week and I may be able to get a ride in, maybe. If I can I won't have an entire day to dedicate to it so the "obvious" day trips to the coast area (Marin area, etc) to ride are out I guess. Are there any rides, within an hour or so, of Stockton that would be worth doing? I did some trail last year (went near the river in a spot or two) a shop close to where I will be suggested and it blew so needless to say I won't be seeking their help again (I'm in no kind of "fit" shape or a great rider and a trail they called "sketchy, epic, and a killer" was a flat, straight road/double track 75% of the time with a few "trail crossings" that offered the odd 2' drop to "challenge" the rider...). Anyway, any help would be much appreciated. TIA
