I seem to recall mention of this in a prior posting, but I thought I would
share my results from today. I am seeing my doctor for Lyme disease that I
contracted while on vacation about a year, or so, ago. At the time, he also
recommended starting Atkin's. I put off dieting due to my health, but here
I am today. Anyway, I just had my appt with him and I get lots of blood
work done. Part of it was liver workup. The only reason I mention this is
because at the height of my symptoms with Lyme, the results were within
parameters. He suggested that the slightly higher results could be from my
diet and suggested changing to South Beach for a period. He doesn't want me
off the diet (thanks) but just wants to tweak it a bit. Currently we're in
a wait-and-see approach. He wants to see me in 3 months to see if there
have been changes (after changing my diet, of course). Granted this could
be any number of things, but I thought I would provide the info for those
that like to have all the info.
