  1. Hello guys,
First of all, I would like to apologize for my english ...
I want to start training cycling. Until some time ago I trained football, but due to some commitments I had to stop with it. By the way, I am 19 years old...
my question is whether I could do some serious results if I start training now or maybe it's too late?

    thanks.

It would have been better if you had gotten into racing five years ago or so, but you can do extremely well starting at 19 as long as you have the natural physical qualities to be a serious competitor. Your best bet is to get a coach and let him guide you in reaching your goal. It is a lot of hard work, and you won't have a sponsor to start, so you have to juggle riding and working until you have made a big enough name for yourself to get sponsors.

  3. Thanks kdelong for the reply... I can say that I'm pretty well prepared physically, but cycling is a completely different sport and there are full other things besides physical fitness, so I wondered if it is already late... Also have ridden about 25 centuries, I know that that's nothing but that was the thing that took me away from the football. I am 177cm and 75kg ( something like Lance Armstrong 🙂 ).
However, I appreciate your answer. thanks again.
