  1. Little Cheese Biscuits

    "Make these tiny to serve as hors d'oeuvres."

    1 cup grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese* 1 1/4 cups flour Dash red pepper or, paprika
    1/2 cup butter 1 teaspoon salt (optional)

    Mix ingredients together and form into a long roll about 1 inch in diameter. Wrap in buttered or wax
    paper and store in refrigerator until well chilled, or until ready to bake. Preheat oven to 400
    degrees F. Slice cheese roll in l/4-inch thick rounds and bake for 5 minutes. If you wish, a pecan
    or almond may be added to top of biscuit before baking. Makes about 30 to 35 tiny biscuits.
