I am considering a 2002-2003 Litespeed Ultimate size 49cm. It will be my first titanium bike. I have ridden Aluminum as well as good ole' steel frames. This next purchase will be my last (for awhile) so I am going high end. I will fit it with Durace (10 speed if I can get it) or Campy Chorus or Record.
I am wondering if anyone has this bike in my size out there and can reply with as much details as possible (raves or criticisms) so as to ease my woes. It is a very big investment. I don't want to make a huge mistake.
I live in Canada and the roads I ride through are varied. Hills, mountains, flat, etc. I plan to race in the future too so this is the bike I will be using.
I am worried that the short wheelbase is not the most ideal everyday-bike. HELP!!!!!
