List of Polar Compatible HRM

Or you could just disregard Polar's instructions and change
the battery yourself. I'm a mechanical klutz but was able to
get a cheap battery at Radio Shack and change it. The only
tricky part was lining everything up so the beeping function
still worked. I'm not sure I'd want to go swimming with the
watch on (Polar recommends they change the battery so they
can seal everything back up), but since I only use the HRM
for running or on a Nordic Track, I don't have problems with
water fouling up the watch.

Well, i've had a pop at replacing the watch battery itself,
unfortunately this time its the battery in the transmitter
that appears to have gone, so that's 32 pounds (sterling) to
replace it.
