Arnie Baker, MD states in his book, "Bicycling Medicine" that one should limit the pedal flotation to no more than 5 degrees if you are experiencing knee problems such as patellar tendonitis. Can someone explain why?
Lastly, has anyone with patellar tendonitis seen improvement going from Speedplay pedals (with 15 degrees of flotation) to something less (i.e., Speedplay Zero).
Thanks,
Fernando
