Does anyone have experience of these wheels? Dierl & Obermeyer 400g front 700g rear.
I need some advice.
The spokes seem to have two substances. A black stripe which I assume is a composite material, and a wooden substance which I expect is simply providing aero properties.
My question is this. Is it ok if the fibres of the brown/wooden stripe of the spokes is a little frayed? Will this compromise the wheel strength?
Also: WHAT ARE YOUR GENERAL REMARKS REGARDING THESE WHEELS?
