  1. Called into my local Lidl this evening and they were putting out tomorrow's special offers. The rack
    boxes were out and I was able to buy a couple. For £5.99 each they compare very well with the
    Halford's equivalent at almost £30.00 Plus the added advantage of being able to buy one of a colour
    scheme (grey + red) which matches son's bike. He is most impressed - passed comment of "Kewl!" and
    is happy it will be of a sufficient size to transport his school books in 🙂

    The bike shorts were also out in Lidl - they look absolutley fine, but I wasn't allowed to buy any
    as they hadn't been programmed into the store computer system yet ...

  2. Do you know if theres a Lidl website in english anywhere?

    I cant remember where my nearest store is. I know theres one round 'ere somewhere though 🙂

    LIDL 0870 444 1234

    But they won't tell you shich shop stocks which items - I guess part of their cheapness comes from
    keeping stuff like info lines to a minimum. Fair enough.

    A website would be good, if you're reading this Mr or Ms Lidl!
