lever movement on Hope Minis

I have just installed a goodridge hose on my hope mini (rear) Now the lever has way more movement than the front and the rear caliper appears to be flexing all over the place. What's with the hooooge lever throw? I have bled the system silly and it's makes no difference. Phil
