Hi folks,
I recently joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Team In
Training" (TNT) fundraising program. Whereas most fundraising efforts
celebrate reaching their goal by throwing a big party, I'll be running
in the Dublin Marathon in October. 🙂
I would like to request your support in this endeavor. I have made a
goal of raising $6000 towards research into a cure for leukemia,
lymphoma, and other blood cancers. If you can find it within your
heart to donate, say $1/mile ($26.20), I would appreciate it, and those
persons battling these terrible diseases will appreciate it beyond
measure as well.

The link above should take you to my donation page. In addition to a
form for making your donation online by credit card, you'll find a link
to the TNT website, where you can learn more about the program and
these diseases.
For instance, leukemia is the #1 disease killer of children 1-15.
Every five minutes, someone in the US is diagnosed with one of these
cancers, and every ten minutes, someone else loses their battle and
dies. Your donation can help bring the research one step closer to
putting an end to these statistics.
If you would prefer to donate by check, send me an email and I'll pass
the information along to you.
If I may ask one more thing of you, could you also assist me in getting
the word out? Please let your friends, family, and coworkers know
about my quest, perhaps send a note to everyone in your email address
book. Be sure to include the link to the donation page, and ask them
to contact their friends and family as well.
Thank you for your support!
Bill
