  1. I train my whole body over 3 workouts

    Mon chest,shoulder,tris
    Tues back,bis,
    Wed off
    Thu legs,abs
    fri off

I do deadlifts on my backday. My leg workout is squats, seated leg
    curl, calves.
Do you think I should do another exercise in addition to squats ie.
    split squat?

I am *always* sore after a workout so I thought about doing whole body
over 2 days ie. mon/tue/thur/fri but I don't have the energy to get it
    all done in 2 sessions.

    TIA!

  2. You could add that exercise or lunges, romanian deadlifts, step-ups, leg
extensions. You have a lot to work with as far as legs go.

I agree, it would be tough to do it in 2 sessions unless you have the
    discipline, time, and energy.

    A 3 day split.

Yea, deadlift after the squats, then the rest. Or do pause squats
    or front squats after squats.

Soreness has little to do with an effective workout. You can make the
2 day split work by doing fewer sets or exercises in each workout.

Not necessarily. Squats and deadlifs are essentially enough. Just go
    deep.

    It would help, IMHO.

Throw away less important exercises and do fewer sets. It will still
    work. Really.

    For example:
1 - Deadlift, pullups, high pulls, curls.
2 - Squat, flat bench press, hang clean and press, triceps pushdowns.

Two or even one set of each, 6-10 reps.
