A couple weeks ago I had a bikefit done and the shop used a spinscan. In addition to showing that I was pretty much a straight-down masher, we also noticed that my left leg was essentially just going along for the ride. The size of its circle was about half the size of the right. Can anyone recommend any exercises to help even things out. I have been doing one leg drills focusing on that leg, but wonder if there is anything else I can do. Is this common?

Poqwercranks will pretty much correct that imbalanace in about 6 weeks since it is impossible to compensate for the weakness with the strong leg with these. Most other methods fail because you can't get enough repetitions in to change the aerobic fitness of the weak leg.

Hey... you went and upgraded PowerCranks without telling me? Not sure why you called 'em Poqwercranks though. 😄 -
When I started training with a powermeter I discovered I could generate more power with less exersion by thinking only about pedalling with the left leg. My right leg would always fatigue sooner, and I wasn't sure if it was because I was lazy with my left leg or because my right leg was weaker.
I tried spinscan on my computrainer and it confirmed that I am in fact lazy with my left leg and produce ~45% of my power with it. If I concentrate on pedalling with my left leg it is close to 50/50%.
