  1. It was cheaper to buy a whole 5 lb salmon to but a piece of one today.
    Any ideas what I can do with that much leftover salmon besides freezing it?

    Cook the entire thing whichever way you like then freeze individual
    servings in individual containers alongside a serving of a frozen
    veggie. Instant TV dinner...or lunch...or breakfast!

    Just a thought! Either cooked or raw, you'll probably need to freeze it.

  3. Um, smoke it or dehydrate it. That is all I can think of. I freeze mine,
    but you asked besides freezing.

    Make salmon mousse and use it to make a terrine. Gravlox is also
    good and it will keep in the fridge up to a week.
