It was cheaper to buy a whole 5 lb salmon to but a piece of one today.
Any ideas what I can do with that much leftover salmon besides freezing it?
Thanks

Cook the entire thing whichever way you like then freeze individual
servings in individual containers alongside a serving of a frozen
veggie. Instant TV dinner...or lunch...or breakfast!
Just a thought! Either cooked or raw, you'll probably need to freeze it.

Um, smoke it or dehydrate it. That is all I can think of. I freeze mine,
but you asked besides freezing.

Make salmon mousse and use it to make a terrine. Gravlox is also
good and it will keep in the fridge up to a week.
