    a few drinks in the company of like minded people. Should
    make for an interesting week-end.

    What about the Tour de France riders? Do they drink beer between stages
    too? I am going to guess that most of them do not, but I wonder if some
    of them drink a couple of beers now and again after their stages.

    No they don't. A glass of Champagne with dinner perhaps if they are
    celebrating a stage win or getting a jersey. Remember they get to bed early
    and rise early ready for the next stage.
