  1. Saturday afternoon and just in case any of my family and
friends were in doubt, I'm watching the prologue race on TV.

In the front room, the lounge, its on the family TV on the
Freeview Digital box on ITV2 with Phil Liggett. In the back
room, the dining room, its on 20in TV/Vid unit with analogue
satellite receiver on Eurosport with Mike Smith. My armchair
is in the hallway straddling the two rooms with one foot and
one ear in each. Here in the spare bedroom its on PC and I
can watch www.letour.fr/2004 every time I rush to the
bathroom to answer the call of nature.

I'm snacking on red wine and french cheese. No, I'm not
    obsessed. Mike

Thanks for the tip - I can't watch it but at least I can
listen to Phil Liggett and co. now! And I can only
imagine what they're going on about Cipollini's new suit
    so much for.

My condolences on being afflicted with GRS.

  5. I am currently looking after the 6 and 7 year old while my
wife is on holiday (and has taken the car).

6yo had to go to a party so we went by bike, him on the
trailerbike and his sister on her bike. Dropped off at the
party, to Tesco's then back to pick up from the party.

Home at just before 5, all a bit weary but on with the
prologue, then negotiate with kids as to when supper would
be ready. Ended up going for pizza ready just after Lance
    had finished his ride.

Oldest was quite taken with it, youngest wanted to stick a
    video in but was outvoted.[1]

[1] We have one man one vote in these situations. I am the
man and I have the vote.
