  1. Chain falls off, hands get covered in grease, grease now on clothes . . . What gets bike grease out of clothing? Thanks!

  2. Liquid dish washing detergent ...

    • apply directly to the affected area
    • work/rub into the fabric either rinse & repeat
    • or toss into your washing machine with your other non-delicate clothing

    I agree, dishwashing soap like Dawn works wonders. In fact I know a bike shop in town that cleans chains with Dawn. Another trick is DO NOT dry the garment until you know the spot is gone. Some fabrics like unfortunately 100% polyester can sometimes be a pain to get a stain out.
