    I thought this was possibly the most interesting "flat" stage of the year. If the break's going to
    get caught, it's best when it happens within the last 500 meters.

    That was a pretty wild bunch sprint, with the Fassa Bortolo lead-out going on even as they were
    trying to catch the breakaway. I think in all the confusion they simply mis-timed it.
