My pharmacist tells me that I need not refrigerate Lantus insulin. The box says to keep it between 36 and 46 C. He says they do not refrigerate it. I have refrigerated mine. Don't see any sense in taking the risk but has he already messed it up. He says as long as the room is cool that it is okay (his pharmacy feels about 75 F to me)

I refrigerated mine. It will go bad at room temps. It turns from clear to kind of cloudy after a few weeks.
