Hi,
Has anyone done the Lansing Legislator Half Ironman or the Timberman
Half? I'm curious as to what the experience was like. I did my first
Half this year (Parry Sound) and now I have the bug.
I'm torn between doing the Lansing Legislator or the Timberman. For the
Legislator, I only have to drive for one day to get there and could
probably combine it with a trip to see my parents. For the Timberman I
have to drive for two very long days to get there. If the race
experience is similar, I'll go to the closer one.
I did notice that the Timberman is in the new Ironman 70.3 race series,
so I guess the shirts would say Ironman 70.3 instead of Half Iron
Distance. I can't believe it, but I seem to prefer Half Ironman to Half
Iron Distance. I wonder what that says about me? 🙂
