Did anyone else notice Floyd Landis' hand position on the TT bars when he crossed the finish line Today? His right hand was about three inches lower than his left. You can see it gradually changing throughout the stage. Mostly in the last time check section. Apparently the bars slipped again.

Made the same comment to the wifey when we were watching. It definately looked to have moved a bit.
I think last year or the year before Phonak had several bars break during a TTT. Cranking until it feels tight works with alloy but it is not the recommended method for carbon. We all need to chip in and buy a torque wrench for Phonak's mechanic.

Why does it happen? I don't know anything about bar handles. Is it because how high it is and/or his unique way of riding... or is it just a a mechanical problem that shouldn't happen.
