    Really great, extremely impressive ride by Flandis. Respect!
    Incredible ride by Dave Wiens too, of course, for his fifth win in a
    row, and under seven hours which is mindblowing. The field was
    stacked: Flandis, the master Wiens, Vail legend Mike Kloser in third,
    multi-time Montezuma's Revenge winner Thane Wright (6th) and Nat Ross
    (10th) among other top dudes. Too bad Lance didn't show, but if
    Flandis crashed early in the ride trying to keep up with Wiens
    (probably on the ridiculous Power Line descent) imagine what would
    have happened to Lance.
