  1. Does anyone have any experience of dealing with Lances . Foundation. I have
ordered some gear and are emailing them but they send acknowledgements but
    not much else.

I tried to organize a local charity ride, motivated by a friend who had
cancer. We wanted proceeds to go to the LAF. I tried to contact them to
see what we had to do to make the affiliation official. They wanted $100
before they'd even talk to me. I was pretty shocked at how they were to
    deal with.

My daughter works for a non-profit organization. They applied for, and
received, a significant grant from the Armstrong foundation. She says
they are wonderful to work with. By the way, she said this before the
    grant was approved. --Carl

  4. Sounds like you failed the poser test.
