  1. HI Folks,

At this point what are his chances for a 6th win? How does the 9:35 behind
the leader compare to his placing at this stage in other years? Are there
stages coming up that he will dominate?

    Thanks

    David S>

If the Tour ended today Lance would finish 6th overall.

    You're welcome,
    Ken

  4. 9:35 behind is not that important. Upcoming are some very hard
mountain stages where in the past he did dominate and gain a lead over
the rest of the field. The late great Pantani couldn't time trial
worth beans, but in '98 (?)he managed to come from behind to a
devastating lead in the mountains, the mountain stages ended so near
the finish of the tour that all he had to do was manage the time loss
after the mountains to win. ( Unfortunately because he was caught
doping in the Giro, his earlier accomplishments have been tainted-
nevertheless, to answer your question Lances chances are good in my
    opinion)

  5. Laz, thanks for your comments. I don't know much about world class bike
racing and all the players but was looking for the insight you have
    provided.

    Later...
