Before I splash my hard-earned, has anyone had any dealings with Bonthrone?
If so, were they positive or otherwise?

I've bought stuff from these guys before - both mail order and visiting
their shop just down the road from me (the mail order wasn't through
laziness, as some things are only available in the store and others only
mail order). I have no complaints. They even gave one bike I bought from
them a rather good free first service, given that I'd thrashed it for a
few weeks. They even fitted new brake pads without me having to pay for
them.

Okay, I'll call that a recommendation and go lamp shopping with them.
