Hi, I am going to do the Lake Tahoe Ride this weekend. I am new to cycling, I have been a swimmer and rower and wanted to try something new. I am just doing the " short " ride (35mi) anyone out there ever done this ride? its my first organized ride, Any advice ? Thanks, Paul

Three times! And one year they shut down the road for show (I guess that means 2-1/2 times)! Organization is just OK. It is beautiful. I think the short ride starts at North Shore and comes around the Nevada side, is that right? That's the not as beautiful half.
Traffic can get kind of bad where you go through that little tunnel, otherwise it's pretty nice.
