lake tahoe in winter?

I live in Reno(on the other side of the hill) and if your in Tahoe(on
the lake) it'll be very very VERY cold. I wouldn't be suprised if it
snowed several times in your short stay. It'll definetly be rideable
that time of year, as long as you wear a jacket and a hat. Incline
village is really nice too, so you'll love it. Uhhh, as far as the Flume
and Ridge trails go, I'm not quite sure if youd want to ride them, but
if you take a 20 minute drive to reno There is more than enough Muni and
Trials to keep a man happy for well over 3 days(or 3 years for that
matter). But since you won't have a car, Maybe we could make an
arrangement for me to pick you up and go riding and such I would be more
than happy to give you a ride around, on the 13th and 14th. I'll call
gabe too and see if he's interested and my friend Sean will be more than

make further arrange ments as to time and places and such.

Hey Catboy, I hope you and your friends can make it to MUni Weekend. We
really should connect. I'm interested in Reno area trails as well. When
I go up there with my wife and her friends, it would be nice to have an
alternative activity to hanging around in a smokey casino!

Meanwhile, Tahoe in November will be a [censored] shoot. Tell you friends to
get married two months earlier, then sneak out to MUni Weekend. Most
likely there will probably be snow already, which makes the trails hard
to find and would make the Flume Trail particularly dangerous. If you
can get down to Reno it's probably a much better bet.

Also, if you contact me at the email address below, I'll hook you up
with Lloyd Johnson. If he's available that weekend, he might be able to
pick you up and bring you to a trail or two.

According to wunderground.com, the average high that time of year is
49 degrees and only 1 in 5 days is cloudy. Chances of being able to
ride in T-shirt and shorts are pretty high. But never underestimate
the weather in mountainous areas. The worst would probably be high
winds driving sleet then turning cold. Brrrrrrr.

Now that's more sensible. I wear a ski helmet riding on really cold
days. Keeps me toasty warm.
