What is the best way to determine my lactate threshold (keep in mind that I live in Africa)
I recently participated in a two triathlon events as part of a team. I did the cycle leg.
I went as hard as I could in both events and had a time of 37:40 for both events with an average heart rate recorded of 178 for both events.
Does this mean that I reach my lactate threshold at 178 bpm ?
