  1. Hi All,

We're interested in hearing views from those with experience in lactate
testing. Specifically we'd like to know which lactate test protocol is
best for determining training zones for use in powermeter training.
We're familiar with the classic conconi ramp test and have just read
about the FACT protocol so is there any consensus ?

Also, if we have HR training zones determined using lactate profile
data (expressed as HR v's mmol lactate) - is it straighforward to
convert this to corresponding power zones ? or is the 'training with
power' convention to use CP values for different distances ?

lots of questions - any info greatly appreciated.

    Best wishes,

    Jimmy + Gill
