You'd think that after the London bombings, just maybe Blair and the Labour Party would have woken up to extremism within this country and ban radical Islamic clerics from promoting their hateful agenda.
I note that wishy-washy Ken Livingstone has invited the cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi to speak in a London mosque (if I'm not mistaken), even though such clerics are totally banned in the U.S. and Europe. For those of you who never heard of this cleric, here is part of his agenda:
(1) Suicide bombing is O.K., especially if Israel is the target.
(2) Gays should be subject to the death penalty.
(3) It's O.K. and quite proper to beat women so long as you only use the open hand.
(4) The tsunami was a punishment from Allah for wrong doing.
So far as I'm aware, 2 radical mullahs have been invited (at taxpayers expense) so I hope I'm not confusing the views of one with another.
Other countries such as France, Spain and the U.S. don't seem to have problems banning these extremists and closing down their propaganda machines. Yet the Home Secretary over here and Blair himself seem to have no problems with any of this. From what I hear, even the U.S. is finally beginning to lose patience with politicians in this country, supporting, appeasing and defending radical, hate-spewing mullahs.
Isn't it time people started to get angry with Blair and his party for actively encouraging these religious nutters?
I quote from the following that describes Ken Livingstone's favoured speaker:
"The cleric used his authority in Islamic theology to give his seal of approval for suicide bombers in Israel who target Israeli civilians, and gave his support to the actions of the terrorist group Hamas. He condoned practices of female circumcision and okayed domestic abuse but “in no case should he resort to using a stick… 😕
He refused to condemn the beheading of Nicholas Berg by militants in Iraq, described homosexuality as an “abdominal practice” and “a disease” whose offenders should be put to death to “maintain the purity of Islamic society”.

Seems like public anger over the said mullah has forced some action. Let's just hope his ass is deported and some sanity returns to politicians.
