  1. It was nice of LA to catch so much wind and help make this years tour more interesting.

  2. See the above post. It seems prudent to remember that Armstrong did get a second place finish, to a
    world champion TT rider. Everyone here is freaking out, saying that Lance is done, riding like
    [censored], Ulriich will certainly win, etc. He rode an excellent TT, just not ridiculously excellent, as
    Ulrich did. Maybe he won't win (maybe he will), but he still is in Yellow, and has rode the tour
    very well. Sheesh.

    And it seemd to me that Armstrong was upright primarily on the final ascent, which was fairly long.
