Hello. I'm thinking of buying a bike for commuting/leisure. The
Ridgeback Velocity looks good and has positive reviews and customer
comments. And it fits my price range of up to 350ukp. I've also been
looking at the Kona Storm but I've been unable to find much info on
this. I've found a few customer comments searching google news groups
but I've been unable to find any reviews. Does anyone have any
comments on this bike or can anyone point me to a review. Thanks.

sorry. I meant Kona Smoke!!!
Not personally familiar In The Flesh, but I've yet to hear any bad words
about Kona and most good reputations like that are earned. On top of
that, it looks good on paper and like it has been designed by people
with function rather than form in mind. Aside from the gearing being a
bit low at the front (48/38/28 I'd have thought would be better suited
for urban road use). It's good to see things like rigid forks, CroMo
steel frame and mudguards on a general purpose hack bike. Looks good to me.Pete.

301, Specialized Crossroads, and Claud Butler Urban 300. But I do like
the Smoke as it looks like a very durable bike. /dave
