noticed that some retailers want more for the 2005 than the 2006 - why is
this? is it the spec? new to this so I cant tell the difference

If you take a look at http://www.konaworld.com you will see that the
RRP for the 2006 is £50 less than the 2005, with shorter travel (75mm
vs 100mm) forks from a less well regarded manufacturer (yes I know the
MZ Marzocchi's are made in Taiwan - but they seem to still do the biz).
Can't comment on anything else tho'.
