  1. Just back from a two night stay in Inverie, Knoydart. Meall
Bhuidhe and Luinne Bheinn walked on day one, and Ladhar
Bheinn on day two. Weather was a mixture on day one, with
some serious sun on day two, both days giving the most
stunning views I've seen yet, Eigg, Rum, the Outer Hebrides,
Skye, An Tealach, Ben Nevis and a confusion of mountainous
counry to the north, south and east. The digs, pub and
walking were all top notch. This place has got a certain
magic and it's one of those place you just know you'll
    return to.

We ( son and I ) finished our Munro round in Knoydart
walking into Barrisdale and climbing from that side.
Absolutely superb area and glad you got some sun ( we had 48
    hours of rain ! )

Thanks for the links below as we have to return on the
Corbett quest and will probably ase ourselves in Inverie.

    Cheers Graham

Had a few wet trips so returned this year. 4 sunny days over
Beinn na Cailleach, Sgurr Coire Choinnichean, Beinn Buidhe
and most of the way up Luinne Bheinn.

Great place but beware the drunk who runs a bunkhouse
    charging £20 a night!

Sounds interesting, is there a tale to tell here ?

It was the last place in Inverie.. We went had a look and
went elsewhere. Fortunately there was a wind on the beach
and we finally got out of the midges.
