Loose or not enough grease in the BB shell and left cup,
    or the BB is history.

Peter, Left side meaning "non-drive side?" Why just that
side and not grease both left and right cup threads? Rick

  2. check the chain-link also. Recently, i was getting an
annoying tick-tick sound and it turned out to be that the
    chain link was loose.

Both sides of the frameszet BB shell but on this BB(6500)
only the left cup comes off..grease inside there, something
    many wrenches ignore.
