to the northern edge. You'll avoid the worst bogs, regardless of the

Near drought conditions generally yes, but even then there must still
be loads of black holes up thar.

I was up last Thursday and it was *dry* - I'm not sure if there has been
any significant rain since then. There were notices down in the valley
about risk of fire. It was the first time I've managed to get up there
when the sun is shining - it was like a different place.
