  1. If there was one thing I did not want was hot weather and a northerly
wind for Kew. Anyone been outside lately? It SUCKS! And where are those
so-called thunderstorms for late afternoon. Stoopid BOM ... grumble
    ....grumble..

BOM are in the process of updating their records, and there are pages
that are now updated more than hourly. I haven't yet incorporated
this into my weather applet thingy, so the applet still reads 16:00
30.5 degrees, but at 16:07 on the new page, it reads 25 degrees. A 5
    degree drop in 7 minutes!?

Anyway -- these are the pages that are perhaps relevant to us:

I went out a couple of minutes ago, and can confirm it is a whole let
more pleasant out there than an hour ago. I shall be attending 🙂

The wind is now a strong southerly, so it should push us up the home
    stretch.
