Once again fast in C grade at 37 kmh. From my position down back I didn't see who one, but a lightly built young whipper snapper sped past me on my second last lap during a futile break away at the top of the hill and he may have won.
What was alarming was the dodgy 4-5 guys in D grade who blew the field apart and we managed to lap, but they past us again, suggesting a very fast D grade pace. The guys at Hawthorn should do the right thing and never let those guys back into D grade again. D grade is for leaners and the not so serious and it's counter productive to have 2/3 rds of the field dropped on the first 2-3 laps.

I had a look before the start of C and D grades. I left so I didn't jinx FD. :-) I don't think I saw anyone else there that I knew (but faces'n'names is a game I suck at). How did you go FD?
