I tried to use the Shim that came with my Talon SL and a round 27.2 seat post. The carbon fiber top of the shim broke right off after just a few pedel stokes. I do not trust this set-up anymore and I am going to get the areo seat post that is made by Kestrel for the Talon and Talon SL.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem or heard of this type of problem with shims for seat post. Also, what do you think about Kestrels areo seat post.
