  1. After posting a message about my bike being stolen on uk.rec.cycling a
couple of people gave me links to other places where I could post the
    info:

    Sam Salt told me about

    http://www.cyclingplus.co.uk/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=14

and Toby Sleigh gave the address of this one:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/stolenbike-uk

Both of the above, however, cater for the whole UK. I think that if
any such enterprise has any chance of success then it should cover a
smaller geographical area and put an emphasis on publicising the group
    in the community.

For this reason I have set up 'Kent Cycle Watch' which can be found
    at:

    http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/cycle/

So, if you live in Kent (or on its borders) please join - or at least
consider printing out and distributing 'business cards' (containing
the group's aim and internet address) from:

    Regards,
