Will be in Kauai next week and would love to ride if
possible (would have to rent a bike). Not interested in the
tours to stop and take pics, cheesy [censored] like that. Googled
but didn't find much. Tried Mtbreview and singletrack.net,

Thanks, DrewThere are two bike shops that rent mountain bikes, but the
one in Hanalei caters to a little more dedicated crowd than
the shop on the east side of the island (I can't remember
exactly where it is). Anyhow, the guy that runs the shop in
hanalei can hook you up with local riders, too.I'd tell you the name of the shop if I could remember it,
but where would be the challenge in that? Try
