They usually have an internal pocket or separate compartment for the
platypus (etc.) bottle and a hole or two for the drinking tube to come
out of.

The symbol is usually near a hole for a tube to exit the pack, and inside
there will probably be a pouch for holding a Platypus or Camelback bladder.
