I once hooked up with a group of cyclists for winter training rides. I thought I acted humble but approached the first day feeling like "I do Tri's, I'm bad" and they road my little ass into the pavement. I groaned near the end of the second Sunday ride and one guy smiled and said "That's what you get for thinking cyclists are sissies." I hung on and once they saw I wouldn't quit everyone warmed up and taught me a lot. Eric

It is true that i have been on travel the last couple of weeks, but I still did some riding and running.
Then I did a local mountain bike race and got crushed.
Nothing like 8 miles of hills and mud to to humble you and remind you not to slack off yet.
