  1. Hey, I just felt like introducing myself before I start posting etc. Well here it goes, I am kind of just getting back into the sport of cycling. Mainly a road bike person never really did any mtn biking. I just got a job at REI in their cycling and paddling department and figured I should go ahead and join a good forum to keep up to date with things, and learn a lot of stuff. I don't want to missinform any customers about things, so i want to stay up to date.

Basically I grew up with bicycles my whole life. My dad owned his own shop, and now works for Gita Sporting goods in the USA (figure this is a international forum). All I know about the technical side of things is from just being around bikes, but I would like to get more in depth and learn learn learn. The last few years I have been in the automotive world and have learned a lot of product knowledge by just listening to what people on forums have to say, so I figure this would be a good thing to join.

Hope to make some friends and learn a lot.

Thanks for reading all of that,
    David 🙂
