  1. Hey Everyone,

I'm new to road cycling, and although I've been on a bike for years its never been in any kind of organized or specialized fashion. I know this is an equipment forum and I have a question about jerseys but this is as close as I could get.

A number of Jerseys I've looked at are made of Polyester, while others are made of more "modern" fabrics such as Nike's Dri-Fit. I like a lot of the Polyester designs better, so before I purchase I was wondering if there is a benefit to the newer fabrics that would be substanital enough to sway my decision. I know they might do more wicking, etc, but again, I'm wondering.

    Thanks

    Dave

  2. the Castelli simple jersey is the best i have ever worn. it has a full length front zipper which makes a big difference in warmer climates. the material is their own high-tech polyfiber. i never thought that i would feel comfortable i anything but cotton. wrong.
