Most bikes branded by auto manufacturers are actually made by bike companies, just massively marked-up.

You'll get a lot more for your money going to a bike shop to buy a bike..

If it's anything like the quality of their vehicles I wouldn't even think about getting one. 😄

Actually, they're pretty cheap and decently optioned, which is probably why he (and I) are looking for information on whether or not they're of decent quality. Hi there! I'm new to the forums.

I have a Comanche Sahara I got last year and it's been great so far. It's quite a heavy MTB though, and has Shimano Altus hardware on front and back (good quality, not the greatest technology).

I would suggest going to the store and giving your bike of choice a good checkup, write down the hardware it has, and do a bit more detailed research or ask people in here.
