  1. Has anyone ever ridden an Anchor (bridgestone)? I am having a difficult time choosing between a Giant TCR, a Felt F60, and an Anchor RA5. I live in Japan and can have the bike custom built for my body size...but the decision is never easy and I cannot find ANY reviews on Anchor bikes! All three cost about the same here...as they have to be ordered... The Anchor has all Shimano 105 components, Carbon front fork...only the felt is a Carbon Hybrid...and the Giant has Ultegra/105`s....Oh the decisions! Help...please?

  2. I'd personally go with the Giant...same bike I'm getting soon.....wicked light and fast. I've been told that it's the lightest production bike.

  3. Erin,
I live in Osaka-I am also looking for a new bike but am trying to decide between touring bike or hybrid. What store are you getting your bike through?

I am selling my hybrid! Giant-FCR 2 (small frame) less than a year of use Y55,000, if you want more details please let me know... I am looking at a store in Fujisawa (off the Tokkaido line close to Yokohama). The owner was once a pro-racer, speaks a LITTLE english but is really kind...took my measurements, compared bicycles with me...excellent guy. I am afraid it might be too far for you, unless you are planning a weekend in Hakone (Near Fuji) or in Tokyo. Please email my regular address and perhaps we can set up some touring rides!

I look forward to talking with you!
